A lacquer shodana (display cabinet) with an asymmetric arrangement of sliding and hinged cupboard doors depicting chrysanthemum flowers on hedges, worked in gold and silver takamakie, hirame and kirigane on a kinji ground, the body decorated with fans worked in gold, silver and mother-of-pearl on a black lacquer and mura-nashiji ground. Applied throughout with silver mounts of pierced flower head design. With tomobako.
