A hanging scroll in ink and colour on silk, of a western dog and bamboo leaves.
Signed Chokyo Shoen hitsu.
Illustrated in Gaho Zenshu (complete works of Gaho), published in Meiji 35 (1902), which states that it was painted when Gaho was about 16 years old. The title given is Basho Yaken-zu (banana plant and wild dog).
