Earthenware vase with grapes and squirrels
Togo Jukatsu (1855-1936)
A fine Satsuma earthenware vase decorated in overglaze and gilt details with fruiting vines, some vine leaves on the body partially in openwork and the neck with a band of pierced honeycomb design, the handles in relief with grapes and squirrels. The top rim with a border of geometric motifs and the foot with maple leave on water stream.
