Miyakawa Kōzan 宮川香山 (1842-1916)
A large porcelain vase in underglaze-blue of exceptional quality by the Imperial Court Artist Miyakawa Kōzan. The mountainous landscapes with cedar forest give us some impression of a Japanese classic painting.
Signed on the base Makuzu-yō Kōzan sei (made by Kōzan of Makuzu kiln)
